The ‘Kerry Food Hub’ is a not-for-profit community project located in Firies, Co Kerry. Managed strategically by a board of social entrepreneurs, the Hub’s overall aim is to enhance employment opportunities in the region and make the community it serves a ‘better place to live.’

The Hub’s purpose-built food production facilities provide start-up entrepreneurs and small but growth-oriented food businesses the opportunity to expand and develop at a rate that would be far more difficult to achieve without easy access to a dedicated and high-quality food-production unit. With full occupancy ever since its launch the Hub’s success has been demonstrably evident – both to the Hub’s stakeholders and to the wider Firies community.
